I am a textile mixed media artist living in Chicago. I create fiber collages and drawings and scuptures by piecing, fusing, stitching and quilting both commercial fabrics and fabrics I have dyed, painted, or printed. My work has been extensively shown throughout the Midwest, and both nationally and internationally. In 2004 I was awarded an exhibition grant by the Illinois chapter of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Three of my pieces hung in the American Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire from 20007-2010. My work has been in invitational exhibits in Germany, Switzerland, Australia and Taiwan.
